The senior financial analyst will be key in the support of optimizing our revenue kpis, supporting new customer growth, collaborating with various groups throughout the organization, measuring results, and is critical to the r1 fp&a team in a dynamic and rapidly evolving environmentAdditionally, this professional will work closely with the new customer onboarding & commercial finance teams in supporting various financial activities, modeling and trackingA successful candidate will have strong analytical, planning, forecasting and financial modeling skills, and exhibit good business judgment.

Your daily responsibilities will also include:

Partnering with operational and financial stakeholders to onboard new customers
Supporting new customer p&ls on an ongoing basis
Partnering with operations while developing financial models that optimize our revenue
Delivering succinct presentations and supporting material to finance and operations senior leadership
Creating revenue models to assess impact of contractual updates and agreements to customer and r1 financial results
Analyzing historic trends and forecasting future customer revenue and operating metrics
Managing key performance indicator (kpi) reporting and invoicing processes for hospital customers
Collaborating with customers to appropriately measure financial results and drive the collection of payments
Investigating and resolving required kpi target adjustments promptly to ensure timely collections of receivables
Training, managing, and collaborating with offshore team; producing related monthly / weekly reports for internal and customer use
Creating, implementing, and conducting ad-hoc financial analyses related to existing and potential customers
Maintaining communication with controllership, billing, treasury, legal/contract administration and operations teams to set and align expectations
Collaborating with accounting teams and other business partners at all levels of the organization in the analysis of financial performance
Assessing opportunities to improve value creation for customers and for r1
Identifying and supporting opportunities for process automation, standardization, and innovation

Required qualifications:

Bachelor`s degree in finance, accounting, economics or a similar discipline
Minimum 2 years experience required
Strong interpersonal and communication skills required to build relationships with customers and internal r1 stakeholders
The ability to manage multiple priorities while keeping pace with changing customer demands in a fast-paced environment
The drive to work independently, remain organized and execute on tasks effectively and cross-functionally
Analytical and critical thinking skills with strong attention to detail as well as solid financial acumen
Fundamental understanding of business operations; connecting numbers to operational drivers
Strong personal accountability and ability to find creative solutions to challenging problemsYou constructively challenge business/data assumptions and goals
Experience manipulating large, complex sets of data
Advanced microsoft excel skills and proficiency in microsoft office suite, specifically power point

Desired qualifications:

Hyperion and database reporting proficiency

Knowledge of healthcare finance or revenue cycle management
