Accountabilities
Responsible for all matters relating to Security Operations.
Accompany/facilitate the BCAS auditors’ activities at the station (i.e. audits, inspections and meetings when required and when on shift). Provide records as per BCAS Audit/Inspection format.
Conduct Catering Audit on quarterly basis.
Generate various reports related to passenger services. Submit Theft and Pilferage Report to the Airport Operator on a monthly basis.
Act as a Station coordinator in liaison with G.H.A. and QR Department. Works closely with GHA and all airport departments to ensure on-time performance targets are met. Ensure the progress towards on-time flight closure and passenger boarding Supervises airport team in achieving on-time performance. Liaison with G.H.A. for a quick processing of hotel and transfer passengers.
Facilitates the Ramp Handling activities in liaison with G.H.A., Caterers, Fuels, Maintenance, Cargo, and Crew to expedite departure.
Utilization of maximum resources by planning efficient duty allocation for Customer Service Agents.
Review aircraft allocations according to the Movement Signals/Late Arrivals/Loads.
Provide support to Airport Services Duty Officer in case of Flight Disruptions, Misconnections, DNB’s and ensure passengers are provided with all possible facilities and full support during any disruption on the shift.
Primary contact for all agents who may need assistance with questions, problems or discrepancies.
Coordinates handling of Company Materials/OCS and Records.
Perform the Aircraft Turnaround Check (ATC) duty as assigned by the ASM to ensure safe operation of QR ground ramp product.
Attend all security related meetings. For ex. Airport Security Committee Meeting (APSC), Bomb Threat Review Committee (BTRC), Airport Operational Committee (AOC) in case of any security related issues at station level in absence of line manager.
Operate aircraft cabin service doors from the outside where applicable to facilitate and reduce the associated safety risk of inadvertent slide deployment.
Perform other department duties related to his/her position as directed by the Head of the Department.

Qualifications
The successful candidate will have:
Relevant Vocational, Tertiary or Trade qualification
Minimum 4 years relevant experience
Prior experience in handling security functions in an airline industry.
Experience in handling security related functions in the airport, cargo terminals, customs and airport authority in outstations.
Be familiar with relevant legislations and regulations relating to aviation security. Understanding of airline operations and their security requirements.
Command of English language.
Good working knowledge of general security operations, compliances and station audit requirements
Knowledge of airline security functions.
