The new global kyc governance structure is responsible for the oversight/operation of the activities set out in the network kyc minimum requirements (mr) to ensure they are delivered efficiently and effectively, including supporting processes, systems and data architecture, organisation and capability framework which is aligned to a consistent operating model which are a number of kyc centres of excellences servicing all member firms.

Working with the training and development support team to produce all necessary training materials centred around the technology stack;
Managing and testing changes to the configuration of the technology tools arising from changes to the kyc minimum requirements and associated lists, and the implementation of local jurisdictional uplifts;
Managing access to and integration of subscribed and public data sources;
Overseeing system performance and system & infrastructure requirements, and liaising with vendors and pwc global technology, as required to address any technical issues;
Providing level two support for users of the technology tools;
Identifying and evaluating new technologies that would improve the efficiency and consistency of the kyc process, for example, through automation;
Coordinating the implementation of any specific additional requirements to meet a member firm’s enhanced data privacy requirements;
Providing technical and operational details to member firms to help demonstrate compliance with their respective data privacy regulations; and,
Liaising with network information security (nis) to ensure the pwc networks security standards are met.
