Full Job Description
Designation: General Manager – Marketing
Location: Hyderabad
Qualification: MBA (Marketing) from a reputed institution
Experience: 12+ yrs
Industry: Pharma, CRO, life sciences industry
Job responsibilities:
– Develop annual strategic marketing plan and budgets for all business verticals in line with the organizational goals and oversee its execution
– Responsible for all planning, budgeting, training of marketing team, setting of marketing project milestones and setting targets to monitor progress and ensure revenue growth and capture the market share
– Liaise with other internal departments and the global front end sales/BD team to drive various marketing initiatives
– Strong experience in end-to-end trade events management and leading participation in global industry events such as CPHI, Bio International, TPD, PEGS and others. Experience in dealing with event organizers and vendors such as Hanson Wade, Informa, Freeman etc
– Responsible for developing marketing and branding collaterals in line with the strategic plan and ensuring consistent branding and messaging
– Create a solid network of strategic partnerships with key industry players, agencies and vendors
– Identify and build relations with relevant industry publications/platforms to drive digital marketing initiatives focused on lead generation and building thought leadership
– Strong understanding of SEO and SEM and demonstrated track record in effective use of these tools
– Track and pre-empt competition activities such as campaigns, new service launch
– Good understanding of sales/CRM platforms such as Sales Force, Sugar Market or other relevant
– Work with multiple teams, to convert customer,
competitor and market insights into marketing promotions geared towards meeting brand, customer and business goals
– Collaborate with the leadership in planning and executing multi-channel campaign plans, managing work-flows with creative and marketing agencies and tracking the results and effectiveness of the same across channels
– Ideating and creation of merchandise/corporate gifts in accordance with the product positioning and philosophy
Skills required:
– Excellent written and oral English communication skills; should be able to interact with the business leaders and the executive leadership team
– Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously on tight timelines
– Ability to monitor and manage budget and get optimal output within the allocated budgets
– A go-getter with an amicable personality and strong people-connect skills
– Strong understanding of the global life sciences and contract services industry.
