About the position

As a people operations specialist, you’ll contribute to the overall employee experience of our us showpad colleagues by playing a key role in employee on- and offboarding, payroll preparation, benefits administration, etc.

You’ll be part of the global people team and support the us people operations teamOur mission is to always deliver the best possible employee experience and we constantly push ourselves to deliver top-notch results.

Key responsibilities as a people operations specialist at showpad

Work closely within the people team to deliver a smooth onboarding & offboarding experience to showpad employees
Perform data entry and payroll preparation for 200+ us-based employees, as well as handle month and year end payroll and tax reporting notices and requirements
Coordinate and assist with compliance reporting requirements and annual audits including but not limited to: erisa, fmla, ada, short-term and long-term disability claims, eeo, aca, 401k audit, worker’s compensation audit, etc..
Maintain employee records, including within the hris (workday) and payroll system (adp), ensuring employee changes and information are up to date and accurate
Prepare and execute people documents through docusign
Complete employment verifications for current and former employees
Prepare general ad hoc (payroll/benefits) reports
Field basic employee questions related to benefits and payroll
Assists with benefits administration, including annual open enrollment for health and welfare benefits, initial enrollments during employee onboarding, and life events
Cooperate with internal stakeholders like accounting team (benefits invoices, payroll taxes and invoices) and it operations (employee onboarding / offboarding)

Required skills for a people operations specialist at showpad

1-5 years of experience as an hr specialist or equivalent; of which 1-2 years of experience in a payroll function including preparation, balancing, year-end reporting, and payroll taxes, preferably in a multi-state environment
General excel, ms suite and google platform (gmail, calendar, drive) knowledge
Understanding of basic payroll processing compliance (flsa, overtime, etc.)
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment where managing priorities is key
Strong team player with a high level of organizational, communication and interpersonal skills

Bonus points

The ability to think out of the box and help us further improve employee experience
1-2 years of hris (workday) experience
Experience with adp payroll
Bachelor’s degree
