Oci iam offers an exciting and non-routine task for tech enthusiasts, which is to build multi-tenant, highly available, distributed, and resilient identity and access management service – identity management (users, groups, dynamic groups, instance principal, and devices), identity provisioning, synchronization, and identity lifecycle management, single sign-on, multi-factor authentication, biometric authentication, passwordless authentication, federated authentication, privileged access management, adaptive access management, carta (continuous adaptive risk and trust assessment), and authorization service – and to develop infrastructure components required for building iam service.

Position overview:

Job responsibilities:

As a senior member of technical staff you will lead the software design and development for major components of oracle’s cloud infrastructureYou should be both a rock-solid coder and a distributed systems generalist, able to investigate any part of the stack and low-level systems, as well as design broad distributed system interactionsYou should value simplicity and scale, work comfortably in a collaborative, agile environment, and be excited to learn.

Candidate profile:

6 – 10 years of experience delivering and operating large scale, highly available distributed systems.
Solid understanding of c/c++ or java, and experience with scripting languages such as python, perl, etc.
Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, operating systems, and distributed systems fundamentals.
Working familiarity with networking protocols (tcp/ip, http) and standard network architectures.
Strong understanding of databases, nosql systems, storage and distributed persistence technologies.
Strong understanding of various test automation methods & corresponding tools like selenium, codeceptsjs, webdriver, etc.
Strong troubleshooting and performance tuning skills.
Experience building multi-tenant security solution or iam products is a strong plus.

Top 3 skill sets / technologies in the ideal candidate:

Software engineering experience with distributed systems within large scale environments

6 – 10 years of experience working on challenging issues with a self-starter / self-motivated attitude

Excellent knowledge in data structure; excellent design skills and problem solving skills deep technical expertise in identity and access management domain
