The client operations – operations manager – india (cos-om) is a local leader for optiv india employees within multiple client operations business functions, which includes inside sales activitiesThe scope of activity within the cos-om purview includes operations processes and procedures from opportunity creation through revenue fulfillment.
This crucial role also interacts with manufacturing partners, internal business partners and outside clients in a fast-paced support atmosphereThe cos-om also supports the international client operations director’s objectives by allowing them more time to assist the business with global business strategy and as a liaison to processes and networks, local to india.

Essential functions
Actively work with sales and operations on process improvement initiatives specific to india operations.
Collaborate with the partner management team on advancing optiv’s india presence through partner relationships.
Drives the development and training of cos-international team members regarding india operations
Other duties:
Host meetings with optiv technology and distribution partners to review forecasts and operations.
Organize and motivate optiv operations employees to align with strategic objectives.
Develop and execute advanced reporting
Conduct formal performance reviews for direct reports
Build process workflows to scale team as business demand grows.
Manage month/quarter/year end activities as necessary.
Provide excellent client service and communication via available tools and resources.
Respond quickly and accurately to requests from internal business functions as well as outside clients and partners.
Make recommendations to and actively maintain an import program to support in-country clients
Coordinate with stakeholders to identify upsell/cross sell opportunities, negotiate discounts with vendors and distributors, and strategize ways to increase value for client while maximizing margins.
Prepare and submit accurate orders for purchasing.
Provide system reporting to the client manager/director, operations, and management upon request.
Act as liaison between client manager/director and optiv internal business units.
Facilitate the completion of client requested documentation, including rfps, supplier forms, and other nonstandard documents.
Collaborate with internal teams to share best practices, ideas, training, that support optiv’s culture and core values.
Proactively follow-up with clients/manufacturers/distributors/ client managers/directors other to ensure the sales cycle and the client needs are met.
Participate in corporate compliance trainings, operations/systems improvements, user-acceptance testing and personal career development activities.
Develop and maintain product and industry knowledge.
Maintain account health through data integrity, credit standing etc.
Actively volunteer to complete tasks on behalf of peers that are out of the office.
Leverage client facing tools to enable enhanced self-service capabilities for clients.
As new opportunities arise within the organization, additional responsibilities will be assumed
Supervisory responsibilities
Direct leadership over 2-3 individual contributors from other business functions with potential for up to 8 direct reports in the future.
Ability to lead and motivate direct reports, often remote.
Qualifications
Associates degree (a.a.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
Two or more years of experience in business-to-business sales/client services role required.
Two or more years of management experience handling more than 2 direct reports.
Ability to lead and motivate direct reports, often remote.
Experience with international logistics and operations.
Prior experience with usd currency conversion activities.
Intermediate level experience with microsoft office; specifically, microsoft outlook, word and excelInternet navigation required.
Prior experience in client relationship management software (crm) requiredSalesforce.com experience preferred.
Proven ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment required.
Ability to build relationships and trust with internal and external partners/clients.
Ability to work in a sales partnership setting, where workflow is determined by incoming requests required.
Superior organizational skills, independent judgment, and functional arithmetic skills.
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, margins, percentages.
Ability to independently solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization existsAbility to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral or from a sales quote.
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memosAbility to write simple correspondenceAbility to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to clients and other employees of the organization.
Strong written and verbal communication skills are a mustAbility to clearly communicate via telephone, e-mail and written document.
Physical demands and work environment
Regular office environment with exposure to moderate noise.
Ability to sit for extended periods of time, ability to input data into computer utilizing hands to finger to tab to different fields to input data.
Ability to work greater than 40 hours per week as needed.
Ability to answer telephone and talk and hear other party.
Ability to view computer screen, close vision (clear vision at 20 inches or less).
Ability to travel to company meetings and events, either in region or via plane when required, no more than 15%.
