They work in a fast-paced, multi-team, and multi-project environment.The QA Automation Architect is a senior level role. This role will be responsible for providing technical leadership, leading Quality initiatives, and will be instrumental in managing QA processes, and driving test methodologies. This is a hands-on role; candidates will be asked to code in the interview. This role reports to the VP of QA, and is a hybrid role, with a mix of in-office days and work from home, at the discretion of the manager.What you’ll do in this role…Drive the test automation strategy, including developing automation frameworks, select automation tools, and provide guidance to automation engineers.Lead implementation of automation strategies as well as maintenance of automation scripts as well as automation infrastructure.Create automation strategy to test products that use complex algorithms, use AI / ML,

are data heavy and rely on complex ETL models.Establish automation execution frameworks on various AWS, Google Cloud and Azure.Establish design principles for QA Automation and Performance testing.Design and develop modular and reusable automated testing solutions.Design and develop automation tools to support unique features of our products.Design test cases from stories/requirements that covers all the basic, alternate, and exception scenarios to deliver a high-quality productIdentify test gaps and opportunities to expand test case coverage utilizing prior Quality and Testing experienceTesting of data quality for content related productsWhat you’ll have…Education: Bachelor’s Degree or above in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Software Development, Information Technology,

or other related Engineering field required. A masters’s degree preferred.Experience: 8 + years of experience in developing enterprise-grade automation frameworksDemonstrated experience in selecting, designing, and implementing test automation frameworks using Selenium, Telerik, or similar tools.Experience developing in-house automation tools.Extensive programming experience in Java, Javascript, Python, or a similar language.Experience in a scripting language would be a big plus.Experience with Continuous Integration (CI) tools like Jenkins.Experience in the SCM domain is desirableExtensive work in various Testing types such as Integration, System, Functional, Regression, Sanity, Smoke, User-interface (GUI), Performance Testing, API Testing,

and/or Mobile Testing.Experience in testing applications using Selenium or for Android and iOS using tools like Appium.API Testing experience is requiredExperience in scripting and implementing automation test frameworks as per the business needs for a product.Extensively use automated test tools like Selenium/QTP/Telerik test studio for Functional and Regression Testing and development of testing frameworks.Expertise in writing Test strategy, Test Plan Preparation and Implementation, Test Case Design, Test Tool usage, Test execution, Defect Management and Defect Tracking.Automation testing with UNIX, Shell scripting, SQL, etc.Execution of automated test scripts,

JMeter based on business/functional specifications.Strong knowledge in web services testing via SOAP UI/Restful web services.Strong knowledge of No-SQL databases like MongoDB.
