As a specialist in packet network technologies, they will work on creating network and system designs to deliver Colt SD-WAN technology over Colt’s packet network, IQnet. They will own high-level design of standard/bespoke features and manage the life-cycle of the designs along the delivery cycle. They will also work very closely with the engineering team to achieve successful implementations of the network designs.Key accountabilitiesScope:As a Packet Network Architect, the successful candidate will focus on:Network design:
Create the high-level network design supporting the SD-WAN overlay implementation requirements over the underlaying packet network.Feature design: Create the feature design updates for traditional packet products to accommodate a seamless overlay-underlay integration.Introduce automation/assurance by design: Ensure any design considers network automation principles and leverages on Colt’s SDN technology. This must apply not only for service activation but also for assurance.Product/Sales/Engineering engagement: Able to deliver significant stakeholder influence to resolve problems.
