The role: morning consult is looking to hire an entrepreneurial strategic communications and market research professional to join a newly launched team within our growing companyThis person must understand survey research, advocacy, and messaging strategy and have experience bringing people together internally to make projects come to lifeThe ideal candidate will jump at the chance to come up with creative and impactful projects that help our clients make the most of our data-focused technology productsThe manager will work closely with leadership to expand our current client offerings and ensure all client needs are exceeded.
Key responsibilities and essential functions:
Take ownership of client projects and coordinate with internal teams to create clear, concise, and beautiful deliverables
Communicate with clients and morning consult staff to explain projects, set expectations, and communicate results
Manage several projects at once on tight deadlines
Brainstorm and execute new survey and content projects that help our clients make the most of our market research and content distribution capabilities
Continuously improve through feedback
Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
Desired skills:
2+ years’ experience in a client-facing role at a strategic communications, market research, or polling firm
Experience designing, executing and analyzing survey research (or other quantitative data sets)
Uncompromising attention to detail
Strong communication skills and ability to craft a persuasive narrative
Ability to manage multiple projects independently
Thrives in fast, high pressure, entrepreneurial environment
