As a member of our team, you will own engaging passive candidates for our core and pivotal roles. This role is more than simple recruiting, you should be able to talk about the Microsoft strategy and articulate career opportunities that engage passive talent. You must thrive in the hunt, and be focused on networking closely within the industry to identify the right talent and companies to target. You’ll cover the basics of recruiting, but more importantly, leverage your business knowledge to develop meaningful recruiting strategies which promote aggressive methods to source, evaluate, and pipeline technical candidates for Microsoft.
Responsibilities
Work with our business leaders and recruiters in defining and maintaining core and pivotal pipelines
Execute on tactical outreach, referral generation and pipelining efforts
Craft custom outreach and meaningful candidate engagement
Work with teams to engage the business early in the recruiting cycle
You will own candidate relationships all the way to the point of an in-person interview, and will be tightly integrated into the feedback process during the interview process.
Recommend and drive improvements with recruiters and interviewing teams to effectively screen and assess talent.
Research and gather market intelligence. Understand and execute against shifts in the marketplace that present recruiting opportunities.
Track candidate activity and share with internal stakeholders
Be gutsy, move quickly, and always follow through
Qualifications
5-6 years of professional experience of which 3+ as a sourcer
Excellent research/sourcing skills. Including use of Boolean, LinkedIn and alternative search techniques.
Minimum of a bachelor degree
Ability to deliver results with little supervision, and effectively manage and prioritize multiple projects and candidates
Decisive and able to push back constructively when appropriate.
Good interpersonal skills and ability to network within the industry to identify top performers.

Ability to meet standard measurements of success for Staffing such as: attainment against annual hiring plans, diversity goals and cost/time to hire standards
