Job Description

• Leadership: Lead a diverse team of 50+ IT professionals, fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and collaboration.
• Strategic Vision: Develop and execute a strategic IT roadmap aligned with the company’s goals, focusing on service-oriented architecture and cloud transformation.
• Oversee IT teams reporting to General Managers (GMs) and the Chief Information Officer (CIO) at the corporate office, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
• Spearhead IT infrastructure and technology setup for new hotel openings, encompassing applications, cloud architecture, and technology blueprints.
• Data Transformation: Lead data transformation initiatives, optimizing data utilization for reporting, analytics, and future digital strategies.
• Escalation Matrix: Establish and manage an efficient escalation matrix for addressing IT issues and concerns across the organization.
• Cybersecurity and Data Privacy: Prioritize and enforce cybersecurity measures and data privacy compliance (GDPR), ensuring the utmost protection of guest and company data.
• Application Management: Oversee core applications, including Opera, Symphony, and Salesforce, to enhance operational efficiency and guest experiences.
• Digital Transformation: Drive the company’s digital transformation efforts, focusing on data consolidation and leveraging emerging technologies.
• Zero Trust Security: Implement and maintain a Zero Trust Security framework to protect against evolving cybersecurity threats.

The Successful Applicant

• Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in a leadership role, preferably in the hospitality or related industry.
• Proven expertise in service-oriented architecture, cloud transformation, and data consolidation.
• Exceptional IQ and EQ, with the ability to balance technical acumen with effective interpersonal skills.
• Strong knowledge of GDPR and information security best practices.
• Previous experience in managing large IT teams and complex infrastructures.
• Familiarity with applications such as Opera is a plus.
