Summary of position
Project coordinator provides primary oversight, coordination, and facilitation through all internal process for project business (defined by complexity and not necessarily dollar amount).

Essential responsibilities

Establish a pre-po project milestone schedule working with the customer’s target install date and target po date.
Meet established milestone target dates to ensure timely purchasing of project to meet installation window.
Prepare and review a purchase-ready project quote which meets acceptable meteor established margins.
Ensure proper use of customer purchasing cooperatives (various contracts).
Estimate freight and installation costs as well as obtain actual freight and install costs pertaining to each project.
Setup of full internal and external project plan and calendar/events in meteor connect project interface.
Coordination of activities between learning environment specialist, interior designer, instructional designer and project manager (internal project team).
Scheduling status update meetings (electronically, on camera) with internal project team ensuring everyone is on track to meet agreed upon milestone dates.
Leading the initial project brief as well as attending the project turnover to the assigned project manager.
Attending (in person or electronically, on camera) key customer meetings to ensure accuracy and efficiency in revision processes.
May require occasional overnight travel such as but not limited to; driving out of your home town and/or flying to another city/state in the us.

Qualifications

Project management- demonstrated knowledge of bringing together organizational resources, timelines, and communications to achieve project deadlines on time, accurately, and with team member acceptanceAdjusting actions in relation to others` actions, situational needs, and limited resources.
Mathematics – knowledge of general industry calculation methods (such as msrp vsNet cost vsSell price), manufacture discount structures, ratios to percentages, statistics, gross profit margins, cost plus method, etc.
Internal customer service – provide fellow employees and other departments within our organization with a positive experienceWork together cooperatively to harmonize processes and procedures and negotiate expectations.
External customer service – provide stellar customer service when interacting with customers by providing clear communication and positive language that represents meteorThis may include customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
Clerical – knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures of our systems and additional file management and system updates.
