We are looking to hire an Independent Medical Education Grant Writer. The grant writer’s role will be to continually search, identify, facilitate, and implement grant opportunities.

This position is responsible for grant development, evaluation, and compliance, including research, pre-award grant writing, coordination of grant applications, and adherence to grant guidelines.

· To determine proposal requirements by identifying and clarifying objectives within the RFP

· To develop request documents that clearly delineate all proposal specifications, including all potential variables

· To list and explain all documentation required from the companies to bid

· To coordinate extensively with other team member to understand the rules and laws governing proposals

· To manage the bid process from opportunity identification to grant award

· To prioritize responsibilities to meet deadlines and ensure proposals are submitted on time

· To maintain consistency in proposal writing by following company policies

· To give presentations to the leadership of the organization, as necessary

· To gather and store feedback on proposals to help improve future proposal content and process

· Checking the statistical strength of an article

· Submitting the accepted grant to the operations team

· Continuous performance improvement understanding reasons behind a grant rejection and overcoming the problems /reasons

· Demonstrated reliability, able to “close the loop” and complete requests in a timely manner, including returning all contacts (calls and emails) within 24 hours, preferably by the end of the same business day

· Performs other duties assigned as required or requested
