Job Purpose
Maintaining MIS of department and review of execution of CSR projects across all Independent Companies of L&T group Interaction with internal and external stakeholders
Strategic presentations: Collation of CSR project data (both budgeting and programmatic); drafting quarterly presentations for seniors of L&T
Overseeing CSR portal: Ensure functional budget tracking portal for CSR budgeting across India, regular updates
Documentation: Work on award applications for the department; inputs for internal and external publications, Digitization of CSR Initiatives
JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
Primary:
A. Budget planning process and execution for achieving 2% spend requirement on CSR; Interaction with multiple stakeholders including regional CSR coordinators, corporate accounts and associated teams
1) Drafting budget guidelines, compiling and reviewing proposals during the beginning of the year for all Independent Companies, preparing slides on the proposals to the CSR Committee, notifying respective people on approval/rejection by the committee, ensuring that all projects are input into the internal tracking portal with valid supporting. Once budget is allocated to the projects, ensuring through constant follow-up that the spend projections for each quarter are to be met. Compilation of programmatic and overhead costs from all Independent Companies. Finally ensuring that the spends are booked fully against the budget allotted.
2) Planning quarterly review meetings with CSR coordinators from all Independent Companies of L&T
3) CSR spend data compilation and analysis against past year’s trends
4) Compilation of costs from all Independent Companies and draft final disclosure sheet for company’s CSR spend, required for Annual L&T Board meeting as well as Annual Report of company
5) Coordinate with Corporate Accounts team to ensure spend and booking are reflected properly. Maintain monthly expense sheets to ensure all spends are tracked, parity between data of budget tracking portal and actual bookings on portal
B. Strategic presentations: Collation of CSR project data (both budgeting & programmatic); drafting quarterly presentations to CSR Board Committee
1) Drafting quarterly presentations to the CSR Board Committee encompassing all major aspects of CSR activities across India. Highlights, budget vs spend, any major proposals and updates about ongoing projects, audits, way forward for multi-year projects
2) Regular update presentations for internal and external stakeholders
3) Data compilation for locations, coordination from all stakeholders for presentations
C. Overseeing CSR portal: Functional budget tracking portal for CSR budgeting across India; maintaining parity, regular updates
1) Regular coordination with IT team and Accounts team for updating budget on portal and maintaining parity with SAP
2) Changes on the budget tracking portal implemented at regular intervals, enable smooth functioning for unit, Independent Company coordinators and apex team to better monitor projects spread across locations country-wide
D. Oversight of regular volunteering opportunities and events
E. Work on award applications for L&T CSR as well as other documentation requirements for the department
1) Showcasing L&T’s efforts in CSR at national and international awards and publications
2) Regular update of Standard Operating Procedures for CSR; CSR sections in annual in-house and external publications
3) Feasibility analysis of new projects and way forward for CSR projects
4) Digitization of CSR initiatives
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION: Master’s in social work / Masters in Developmental Sciences
NO: OF YEARS OF EXPERIENCE: 3 to 5 yrs
TECHNICAL QUALIFICATION: Knowledge of development sector specifically education program, Social Science research, data management and documentation of projects
COMPUTER SKILLS: Proficiency to work with large data in excel sheets, Proficiency in MS-Office with skills in making Power point, and Web advanced Search.
BEHAVIOURAL COMPETENCIES: Excellent written and oral communication skills, good interpersonal skills, team worker and attention to details, Capacity to Multitask
