Regional sales manager
The regional sales manager (rsm) is responsible to drive sales growth in a defined territory for l2f’s automation, robotics and artificial intelligence products for liquor control and automated food equipmentWe are looking for a dynamic, hunter mentality, experienced rsm to develop relationships, lead business development with new large key accounts, follow up on incoming sales leads, respond to customer requests, and help support the sales and marketing teamWe are looking for someone who is enthusiastic to use automation, robotics and artificial intelligence to improve the hospitality experienceL2f is part of the middleby corp (nasdaq: midd), leading the way in ai driven liquor control and automation and innovation in the kitchen.
This is an individual contributor role reporting to the vp sales & marketing.
Northeast territory: me, vt, nh, ma, ri, ct, ny, pa, de, d.c., md, va, wv, ky, oh, mi, in, il, wi, ia, mo, ks, ne
Key responsibilities of the regional sales manager include, but are not limited to:
Meet or exceed monthly/quarterly jointly agreed revenue targets
Responsible for developing relationships and educating our customers, reps, and dealers to sell our product portfolio
Crm pipeline maintenance – update sales opportunities to provide accurate close dates, amounts, and contact information
Provide an accurate monthly forecast for region
Follow up with new leads and aging opportunities in crm
Create new sales opportunities and quotations in crm, the face of l2f in region
Develop and execute regional sales initiatives to support growth targets
Visit and manage reps to create alignment on revenue goals and other relevant activities
Coordinate with other internal teams, departments, and individuals to ensure a high degree of customer satisfaction
Other responsibilities
Support voice of customer activities
Create success stories and customer testimonials
Ongoing training on products and understanding the marketplace
Support hosting tours and visits to the middleby innovation kitchen (mik)
Attend industry tradeshows and regional events as needed
Qualifications
Bachelor`s degree or equivalent experience
5+ years in technical sales with proven track record of exceeding quota
Demonstrated business sales development, cultivation, and relationship management skills
Experience in commercial food equipment, hospitality and/or liquor control is a plus
Understanding the hospitality sales process and key contact points with stadiums, corporate multi units (cmus) and fast casual restaurants is a plus
Ability to identify customer needs, effectively communicate solutions and provide a value proposition with an roi
Highly effective and successful in sales lead generation, negotiation and closing
Excellent verbal, written, computer, interpersonal and technical communication, and presentation skills
Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and business relationships
Availability to travel up to 50% of time
