About the Company:
The Foundation for Advancing Science and Technology India (FAST India) is a non-profit institution dedicated to enhancing the science and technology ecosystem in India. FAST India has five key verticals – policy and research,government support, institutional strengthening, corporate sector engagement, and science communication. Our flagship annual science communication event is the India Science Festival.Since 2019, the India Science Festival (ISF) has endeavoured to serve as a platform for deeper engagement between scientists, researchers, professionals, entrepreneurs, young people and the public at large. At ISF, we wish to have the public involved in the latest in science and get actors across S&T sectors to discuss, collaborate and progress together. Our festival features high quality and engaging popular science talks, panel discussions, fireside chats and a variety of exciting workshops, exhibits, demonstrations, competitions, contests and games – all of which are free to attend.

-Open to Indian nationals only.
-Self-starter with a can-do attitude and openness to learning.
-Strong communication and interpersonal skills; good email writing skills and proficiency in English is a must.
-Understanding the analytics on social media platforms and planning strategies to enhance our presence online.
-As this is a paid internship, candidates must be eligible for receiving payments and, therefore, should not be bound under contracts with other organisations.
-A background in STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Mathematics) subjects, communication/marketing-related and design-related subjects are desirable, but not necessary.
-An interest in social media marketing and a zeal for content creation, familiarity with social media platforms such as Instagram, Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn are desirable.
-Preference will be given to candidates with prior experience in social media marketing, video editing, designing social media posts and handling Wordpress.
-Students (undergraduate/postgraduate/ PhD), early career science communication or public engagement professionals or anyone interested in gaining experience in these fields.
