Full job description
The primary responsibility of the account manager is to identify opportunities and grow the satlab geospatial business by focusing on establishing a new distribution channel in north americaThis is an opportunity to be part of a team that is creating new a go to market strategy for satlab geosolutions
Primary responsibilities:
· achieve quarterly and annual sales and profit targets
· develop strategic plans to identify and develop markets and customers
· collaborate with the sales management to develop a comprehensive sales strategy
· manage business relationships with prospective new dealers
· cultivate relationships with end users across the survey, construction and accessories profession and industry, spreading information and product knowledge about satlab products
· provide market research in regard to competitions’ products and performance
· participate in the development and implementation of the sales strategy in coordination with satlab strategy.
· identify and develop distribution channels for professional survey and construction end-user groups.
· monitor competitive moves and market conditions to ensure the success of satlab sales team.
· provide a written report of activities weekly through self-documented via ms word / excel, or by using any tool / program the satlab provides as a crm tool.
· attend industry trade shows / state events promoting our products and assist with set up and tear down of booth when necessary
Desired skills
· willingness to travel for periods of time (up to 50%)
· ability to work remoteSelf-discipline (self-starter) and able to self-manage
· ability to work in a team environment and develop marketing strategies
· strong written and verbal communication skills.
· background in selling construction surveying products preferred (total stations, gps).
· knowledge of sales and distribution channels in surveying and construction market segments.
· positive attitude and strong desire to succeed
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in sales management or business administration, or technical / engineering preferred.
3 years of experience in sales of surveying and construction solutions.

Salary: $30,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year
