Abstract new leases and lease amendments
Review, analyze and interpret lease language in order to process cam, tax and insurance reconciliations including, but not limited to, obtaining appropriate back-up, analyzing, disputing (as necessary), and resolving disputes and preparing check requests and reconciling tenant ledger
Review certain proposed lease amendments and estoppel certificates to confirm accuracy
Process monthly base and additional rents, including when applicable, researching, analyzing, disputing or confirming cpi adjustments
Prepare check requests and credit memos
Work with the hft finance department regarding accruals and ap and ar payment coding
Assist with new store set-up including utilities and obtaining insurance certificates
In charge of training the junior lease administrators and supervising portions of their work product

Requirements
Job qualifications – education and experience
Preferred 3 years’ experience in commercial real estate with a national or regional retailer, handling lease administration duties, including cam, tax and insurance reconciliations, utilities, property management functions, and database management
Multi-unit retail experience a plus
Microsoft word, excel, access, office and related computer proficiency required
Some familiarity with “prolease” lease administration software or similar programs preferred
Must have accounts payable experience
Job qualifications – skills
Must possess strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Must have the ability to work independently but also team with various corporate departments and levels of management as necessary
Must be able to prioritize and timely respond to issues
Physical requirements
General office environment requiring ability to:
Stand, walk, sit for extended periods of time
Speak and listen to others in person and over the phone, zoom or similar video conferencing
Use keyboard and read from computer screen and reports
Lift up to 15 lbs
