Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

• To read and understand electrical drawings, circuits, control schemes.
• Should have knowledge of HT & LT switch gears, transformers, motors, AC/ DC Drives, UPS, Battery Chargers, PCCs etc
• Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus, and fixtures, using hand tools and power tools.
• To ensure continuous availability of Power to plant i.e. operation of DG Sets and associated switch gears.
• Plant preventative maintenance.
• Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components, using test equipment and hand tools, to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem.
• Connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers or other components.
• Monitoring and recording of Power Consumption on a daily basis.
• Provide preliminary sketches for materials.
• Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair, and to ensure compliance with codes.
• Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures, using testing devices such as multi meters, clamp meters, to ensure compatibility and safety of the system.
• IMS implementation & Documentation of department as per Standards.
• Ensure safe work place and ensure conservation of Energy & Environment.

Expectation:

Electrical Engineer with good experience (2 years for BE / 4 years for Diploma) in electrical maintenance of Chemical Industry. statutory requirements, Understanding & development of control drawings.
