Full job description

Summary: forever oceans is looking for a skilled construction manager to support the delivery of innovative offshore aquafarmsYoull be joining a highly-motivated, multi-disciplinary team focused on revolutionizing the way fish is producedSuccessful candidates will have extensive experience executing ocean studies and managing large-scale open-ocean infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities:

Manage all aspects of multi-disciplinary construction projects in the field

Interact with contractors, fabricators, owners, and clients

Perform quality assurance/quality control checks in the field and ensure adherence to construction and installation procedures

Resolve design and construction conflicts in the field in real time

Perform project control tasks, including project scheduling, budgeting, and cost control

Accident investigation and reporting

Coordinate project management office and track project status

Up to 90% international travel

Desired experience:

Bachelors degree in engineering or construction management

5+ years of experience

Professional engineer (pe) license

Proficiency with autocad

Experience with project management of major construction projects including estimating, cost control, schedule, and contractor management

Ability to work with remote/international teams; spanish language skills are a plus!

Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Detail-oriented and experienced with reporting to senior management

Excellent communication and organization skills, and the ability to articulate complex issues concisely

Ability to quickly understand business systems and processes, and identify opportunities for improvements.

Passion for working on cutting-edge technologies and eagerness to learn new things.

Team player with excellent time management, prioritization, and organizational skills.

Any real-world work experience in a marine environment is a plus.
