We are looking for Docker Administrator

Job Location_Bangalore

salary : Upto 13LPA

Total exp required : 5yrs

Position Purpose

· As a Docker Administrator, you will be working closely with multiple teams (Engineering, Security, Operations & Development teams) to maintain, deploy and operate containerized solutions aligned to our overall strategy. You will hold hands on role that consists of administrating Docker EE based Kubernetes cluster, containerizing apps and spreading the usage of containers in the company through automation and coaching.

Responsibilities

· Managing Docker EE based Kubernetes platform

· Automating the provisioning of environments & deployment of containers using Ansible scripts

· Thriving for continuous improvement of the production environment

· Influencing other teams in adopting Containerization best practices

Technical & Behavioral Competencies

Skills & Experience:

· Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience required

· 5 years of overall experience in software engineering

· At least 3 years of hands on experience as Docker engineer performing

o Kubernetes administration

o Container image life cycle management ( test, patch, deploy)

o Container networking

o Container storage management

· At least 1 year hands on experience in Ansible automation

Mandatory

· CKA (Certified Kubernetes Administrator)

· Strong critical thinker with problem solving aptitude

· Good background in Linux / Unix Administration

· Working knowledge of Python or Shell Scripts

· Good understanding of CI/CD pipelines

Plus

· Hands on experience on Application Server configuration and management (eg. Tomcat, WebSphere)

· Knowledge or experience with Mongo DB, Elasticsearch, Redis

· CKD (Certified Kubernetes Developer)
