Key Responsibilities:

– Provide Salesforce technical leadership for a team of developers, admins, and analysts inhouse as well as external partners
– Deep and extensive knowledge, and experience of SFDC technologies including apex, lightening components, SOQL, triggers, batch apex, visual force, lightening components and lightening UI

– Salesforce Architect level expertise and relevant experience
– Liaise with stakeholders to lead the design of end to end solutions for business processes using Salesforce.com Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud & Force.com platform
– Thoroughly understand various managed & and developed applications for the organization, manage technical and business risks when implementing new solutions, customizations, or resolving issues
– Document current and future state processes and develop technical specifications for projects and enhancements
– Aid end-user application support, troubleshooting level 2/3 errors, find solutions for business use cases
– Work with internal technical team members supporting applications and provide technical direction/solutions

– Release management (migration, refreshes, version control and deployment) as needed
– Maintain Salesforce Org security updates, and thorough evaluation of business risks before deploying updates. Develop a plan on Sandboxes to mitigate risks with business continuity of apps/portals
– Demonstrate ability to multi-task and re-prioritize responsibilities based on changing requirements & business priorities
– Work on other connected University platforms such as Moodle/Backboard and others augmenting end user’s experience

Qualifications:

– Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
– 3 to 5 years of experience as a Salesforce Administrator
– Salesforce Administrator certification is preferred

– Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture and data model
– Proficient in Salesforce configuration, including custom objects, fields, workflows, and reporting
– Experience with Salesforce Lightning Experience is a plus
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
– Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
– Ability to work independently and in a team environment
