Ey – gds – consulting – business operations – associate director

As part of our ey – finance consulting team based in bangalore, you will help clients interested in establishing a gbs and sscAdditionally, this role demands strong understanding of the current market and demonstrated ability to develop and sell to a wide range of customersThis is a global role.

The opportunity
We’re looking for a senior manager with expertise in end-to-end finance gbs/ssc design and implementation with domain expertise in any two competencies – order to cash, record to report, procure to pay, hire to retire, financial planning and analysis to join the global ey – finance consulting team at bangalore.
Strong understanding of financial services managed services is an added advantage.

Establish and manage the team of finance / gbs specialists at various india and outside india delivery centres
Lead / support business development in the different regions
Collaborate with other centre leads across a deal life cycle
Strong innovation mindset to develop customer focused solutions which will drive sales
Develop our finance / gbs offerings and assets
Act as an ambassador for the practise and cultivate relationship with global leaders
Leverage and improve various frameworks, methodologies, solutions specific to our offerings

Your key responsibilities include

Collaborate with partners and pursuit leads across all stages in a deal life cycle – identify to deliver
Develop gbs / ssc competency in the region
Actively review and explore opportunities to improve and optimize ways of working
Collaborate with global finance and gbs community to embed offerings in pursuits
Develop finance / gbs solutions which can also be leveraged for global engagements

Skills and attributes for success

Demonstrated experience in end-to-end gbs activities such as activity analysis, cost baselining, location assessment, business case creation, target model design, transition, operations etc.
Knowledge of latest finance offerings
Demonstrated ability to develop and sell solutions
Excellent articulation skills
Flexible and adaptable; able to work in ambiguous situations
Able to work effectively in a heavily matrixed organization

To qualify for the role, you must be

A qualified accountant or mba (finance)[ other professional degrees (like cfa, cma) can be considered based on relevant working experience as required]
Having 15+ years related work experience
Six sigma certified
Having prior consulting experience in a big 4 or boutique firm
Able to travel (domestic & international) and to work in any shift
