Core Duties
– To ensure that where possible all work is completed within SLA
– Assist in the resolution of major problems/incidents in a timely fashion.
– Analysis and resolution of problems and issues reported by customers.
– Provide direct Support for all Paymaster operations portfolios.
– Liaise with Pensions IT/Developers for third line support & provide appropriate support information.
– Liaise with Third party software providers for resolution of system problems.
– Fully understand how all aspects of the work integrate with all systems.
– Ensure documentation is up to date
– Contribute to completion of daily tasks and BAU work items
Skills and Knowledge
– ITIL foundation level advantage
– Good Interpersonal skills.
– Experience in delivering support services and projects.
– Experience of working within measurable SLA’s.
– Pragmatic approach to problem solving, finding practical ways to delivering fit-for-purpose solutions.
– Microsoft office suite competence
– Microsoft SQL Management Studio query writing skills advantageous
– Oracle query writing skills advantageous
– Ability to work under pressure and multi-task, prioritising where necessary
– Excellent attention to detail
– Flexibility to working hours essential
