Administer (Installation and Upgrade) and support (Monitor and maintain) multiple MicroStrategy servers (Intelligence Server, Web and Mobile)
Act as MicroStrategy expert to advice team on best practices in deploying MicroStrategy for best performance and scalability
Assist BI developers in optimizing application performance
Hands on experience with MicroStrategy 2021 onwards platforms including Developer, Administrator, Object Manager, Command Manager, System Manager
Hands on experience in managing the Enterprise Manager Load and EM reports. Should have clear understanding of EM data structure and would be required to create customized reports on usage stats
Need to have basic knowledge on SQL to analyze the Report performance and EM reporting
Would require writing scripts to automate and handle the automation processes
Assure all system setups, configurations, and best practices are documented using standardized documentation
Coordinate with shared support personnel for server OS and database maintenance and troubleshooting
Consult and interface with internal/external team members for service requests, maintenance, and patching
Monitor and support multiple jobs, scripts, and events
Continually monitor and tune the performance of the platform
Monitor and manage scheduled jobs to assure that stakeholders receive analytics
Troubleshoot issues identified by business and IT stakeholders
Implement and maintain security, manage server components, and pro-actively monitor application resources
Establish performance metrics for faster, accurate, and reliable services across the environment
Exposure to other BI tools like Power BI, Tableau is encouraging
Basic Qualifications
BE or MS in computer science or related fields
Minimum 5 years’ work experience in MicroStrategy Architecture, administration, Support, Server maintenance is required
Good hands-on experience with one or more databases such as Oracle, SQL Server
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Experience with Change Management, project tracking, testing, and requirements tools
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Articulates complex concepts in clear, brief, and easy to understand manner
Maintains clear and open communications with project teams members and stakeholders
Identify and escalate risks and issues with remediation recommendations
