Role Description

The Trade and/or Transaction Analyst provides operational expertise and independent governance to achieve timely, accurate and complete transaction management for the bank and, where relevant, the bank’s clients. The Trade and/or Transaction Analyst’s responsibilities include technical, transactional and logistical input into the leadership team to ensure the bank operates with the right balance of quality, flexibility, control and cost. This is achieved through collaboration across businesses and divisions in an environment which maximizes control and minimizes operational risk, whilst maintaining exceptional client or internal customer/stakeholder (as appropriate) service levels.

Your key responsibilities

Monitor volume inflow and workflow allocation in a justifiable manner.

Ensure all team members performs all the assigned tasks as per the process timelines.

Co-ordination with Business/Finance to resolve any open tasks/Breaks.

Conducting regular meetings with business to understand their requirements.

Preparation of reports to management and conducting weekly breaks calls with management.

Escalation of pending issues to Business/Finance/Management.

Ensure Quality Assurance of all such transactions per the requirements of the KOP & KPI.

Process all kind of loans activities (viz. roll over, rate sets, pay downs, commitment changes etc.) and continue to meet SLAs for such operations

Process and generate necessary reports to various stake holders as per the required timeline and frequency (including problem solving on issues, if any).

Assist with various projects, analysis, process improvement/re-engineering measures and other initiatives of the group in addition to regular deliverables.

Ensure adherence to DB Values and Beliefs, control and compliance policies

Carry out all other regular activities of the group as and assign the work to other team members.

Ensure adherence to all cut-off times and 100% accuracy is maintained.

Ensure that all queries/ first level escalations are responded to within the time frames.

Escalate and Keep AVP informed of the exceptional occurrences, to enable appropriate action on a timely basis

Assist DBOI in carrying out any special tasks or projects that may be required from time to time as assigned by AVP/VP.

Provide inputs and feedback to AVP on the process and team on a timely basis. Maintain and provide timely and accurate MIS

Make good use of own skills and seek ways to support/coach other members of the team.

Handle work confidently, adjust to changing priorities, handle ambiguity, and respond constructively to feedback.

Responsible for managing productivity, accuracy and timeliness as per KOP/KPI benchmark requirements. Maintain process controls and initiate required control at relevant areas. Maintain Documents w.r.t KOP, KPI, DTP’s, Process Reports, Process Maps

Your skills and experience

Considering the demanding, complex & Critical nature of the role and able to work in fast passed environment with consistent deadlines, candidates should meet the below requirements.

Bachelor’s Degree or Post-Graduation degree in Finance

Excellent Verbal & written communication along with dynamic & confident approach.

Strong Analytical & Logical Reasoning.

Understanding of Organizational Behavior & Problem Solving.

Experience in servicing bilateral, Syndicated and agency loans.

Good LS2 System knowledge is preferred

Knowledge and Understanding of LMA (Loan Market Association) Market.

Strong Knowledge Understanding of Syndication Loan Market & Secondary Loan Trading.

Ability to implement tasks & projects with minimal supervision.

Team Player who fosters team spirit in a global setting.

Proficiency in MS Office applications with advanced Knowledge of excel a strong plus.
