As a technical program manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the security of our products and applications using offensive security best practicesThis individual will join dell’s product & application security organization as a member of our secure development lifecycle (sdl) teamThe sdl program is a strategic program for consistently building demonstrably resilient software across dell’s diverse product and technology portfolio – ranging from firmware to cloud-based solutions.
The technical program manager is responsible for driving and delivering secure development lifecycle services and capabilities to development teams on a monthly and quarterly cadenceThis position is responsible for identifying services roll-out requirements including infrastructure, internal operations and external operations, etc.; and executing against project plans, proactively mitigating risks, and managing secure development lifecycle from inception to release to post-release support.
You will:
Manage development and releases of secure development lifecycle projects
Manage challenges that typically impede projects such as: competing priorities, project scoping, scope creep, limited resources, timelines etc.; and escalates to management as necessary
Build strong partnerships both with internal teams and business stakeholders, which includes with global team members and stakeholders
Provide solid reporting on the project risks and status to the leadership teams on a weekly/monthly and quarterly readouts
Drive implementation of tested system changes with globally distributed teams to determine priorities, schedule new builds and releases, and maintain the environment/build planning

Essential requirements
8+ years’ experience; in information security, computer science or information systems or related field.
5+ years of related experience in program management in a technology/software company.
Ability to dialogue with engineering at a reasonable level of technical depth
Strong proficiency in microsoft office tools such as project, word, powerpoint and excel and collaboration tools such as confluence, jira, etc.
Desired requirements
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information security, risk management, information systems, or equivalent experience.
Pmp – project management certification or itil v3 preferred
Sme with secure development lifecycle or product security
