Job responsibilities
Your primary responsibility will be involved in testing applications in terms of communication protocols,plcs etc
Background & skills
6 to 9 years of experience in validation testing of industrial communication protocols (profinet, ethernet/ip, ethercat, bacnet/ip, modbus tcp, powerlink, profibus dp, devicenet, canopen, bacnet ms/tp, modbus rtu, metasys n2, lonworks, ak-lonworks, as-i bus, interbus, profisafe, opc da, opc ua) using manual/automation testing techniques.
Experience in preparing product validation test plans
Experience in designing test cases and test scenarios for product validation.
Strong knowledge about variable frequency drives and its applications.
In-depth knowledge of fieldbus communication protocols.
Experience in using the protocol testing/analyzer tools for testing protocols (wireshark, modscan, modbus conformance tool, profibus analyzer…).
Detailed understanding of industrial communication standards (odva, opc, epsg, profidrive… etc)
Experience in defect management tools and impact analysis of changes.
Strong knowledge about industrial automation customer use cases and applications.
Strong knowledge of plc, dcs hardware & software (siemens/allenbradley/beckhoff/b&r/abb/schneider/honeywell/yokogawa, etc..)
In-depth knowledge and experience in iec 61131 plc programming languages.
Strong understanding of software product development life cycle.
Excellent analytical skills and ability to apply the knowledge to solve practical problems
