Summary description
The global payroll time and attendance lead is an important member of the global payroll team and is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of time reporting across all regions of the worldReporting to the global payroll leader, this is a critical role with significant leadership accountability to our key partners which include the hr service center, business operational leaders, and legal/compliance to ensure a seamless employee experience while having strong processes, controls, and accurate reportingThis position is also responsible for the coaching, mentoring and leadership development of the time and attendance analysts in each region.
Responsibilities – how will you help us grow?
Responsible for the administration of a single time and attendance platform across all regions supporting business initiatives and regulatory compliance changes.
Responsible for vendor management for global t&a system as well as regional partners to ensure that they are delivering on their services and commitments, escalating performance issues appropriately.
Serve as subject matter expert regarding use of tools and processes related to t&a systems for etime, and country specific t&a systems (i.e., chile, romania, egypt and italy).
Serve as subject matter expert regarding use of tools and processes related to absence tracking within workday.
Ensure timely and high value customer service to employees, including developing and adhering to established slas.
Collaborate with regional t&a resources, global payroll leader and t&a vendor to resolve issues and ensure solutions are viable and consistent.
Participate in global payroll initiative to understand time and attendance requirements across regions.
Responsible for managing project related to complex migrations from development to production, upgrades, and installations or configurations.
Maintain adp etime blueprints as requirements change.
Apply information technology expertise, analysis, and design techniques to solve business needs.
Recommend changes to optimize operations and improve efficiency.
Coach/develop/support growth of team members including cross training across regions to ensure backup exists for knowledge of time and attendance solutions.
Manage special projects as needed.
Qualifications
Experience – what will you bring to the table?
Ba/bs degree preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of experience managing time and attendance solutions including adp e-time as one of the products.
Experience with adp payroll solutions (global view, celergo, e-time) preferred.
Strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate clearly and concisely via written and verbal communication both internally and with key stakeholders across the company.
Strong analytical skills with acute attention to details and quality focus.
Ability to manage a team to deliver timely, consistent results and represent the region in key strategic initiatives related to time and attendance.
Ability to apply analytical thinking to resolve issues (e.g., operational challenges)Ability to analyze and monitor operational controls and metrics to monitor risks and issues.
Experience working and collaborating in a cross-functional global environment required.
Advanced experience in word, excel, and powerpoint.
