Job description
Responsibilities: software design and development of moderately complex software resulting in high
Quality, software products.
ž¢ analyze and understand the functional/non-functional requirements.
ž¢ understand the high-level design and ability to translate to low level design and implementation
ž¢ implementation of the complex modules with high quality and clean coding.
ž¢ unit testing of the implementation to ensure complete coverage.
Desired skills and experience
4-7 years of hands-on experience in software /technology development
Must have:
ž¢ proficiency in c/c++
ž¢ proficiency in microsoft sql server database
ž¢ proficient in object oriented analysis and design
ž¢ must have good knowledge of multi-threading concepts
ž¢ development experience in visual studio 2019
ž¢ systems thinking, technical acumen, analytical skills, and communication skills.
ž¢ testing skills (unit testing, integration testing)
ž¢ exposure to one or more software development methodologies (agile/scrum preferred, one full
Lifecycle preferred)
ž¢ good analytical and problem-solving skills
ž¢ quality mindset and attention to detail in all aspects of software engineering and development
Good to have:
ž¢ experience in programming in c# and java
ž¢ exposure to device communication protocols such as modbus etc.
ž¢ experience using git
ž¢ exposure to scrum methodology work culture
ž¢ exposure to design tools – enterprise architect
ž¢ experience with debugging tools, profiling tools.
ž¢ knowledge in industrial automation, scada, control and instrumentation
Education:
Bachelor / masters in computer engineering, eee, electronics & communication, information
Technology, computer science
