About the role:
Confluent is looking for a head of global compensation programs to build and deploy innovative, scalable, and value-added compensation programs to support a hyper growth technology organizationReporting to the vp, total rewards, you will own the design, strategy and implementation of compensation programs, providing consultation and advice, as well as ensuring effective deployment of programs and processes globally and at the local levelYou will provide vehicles to push our philosophy of trust, transparency and pay equity for all global employeesThis is an opportunity to build and continue to grow your strategy, partnering and leadership skills exponentiallyWe are a small but collaborative team with an amazing amount of growth potential for the right candidate.
What you will do:
Leads the strategy, design and development of compensation plans throughout the organization.
Perform various research and analyses to determine market competitiveness of compensation programs or to ensure compliance with current legal regulations
Develop insights to analyze the effectiveness of compensation programs
Drive key requirements and efficiency of our programs and structures in workday
Build and maintain job family structures and details for all employee positions, including job code creation, cleanup and data requests from clients
Manage the compensation survey submission process
Manage compliance with applicable regulatory requirements regarding employee pay while staying up to date on current related legislation
Document business processes to streamline processes for the compensation team
Work with people team pmo to prioritize compensation programs and strategy
Own our stock programs and submissions to the stock team
Assist in building compensation committee materials relating to programmatic changes
What you will bring:
8+ years of direct work experience in compensation programs across all functions and geographies including particularly in emea and apac regions
Experience in a software development company operating in a saas business model
Combination of high-growth private and public company backgrounds
Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to interpret data and gain key insights
Strong process management skills
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
Customer and business focused in everything that you do
Proficiency in workday and microsoft office
Ability to work autonomously
