Position summary
Provides training on product functionality to customer stakeholders during the product lifecycleReviews, analyzes, and evaluates user needs to create systems solutions that support overall business strategiesDocuments system requirements, defines scope and objectives, and assists in the creation of system specifications that drive system development, implementation, and adoption.
A day in the life
Plan, organize and develop new training classes and content including the supporting materials such as extensive training manuals, powerpoints, quick reference guides, how to’s, etc.
Deliver training on all aspects of product functionality to customer stakeholders and technical staff during the product implementation lifecycle, including end user, admin,
Developer (technical) and e-business training
Work closely with the r&d, marketing, and release teams to update training materials with latest upgrade information and release notes
Analyze requirements from customers and determine best use or solutions of the software
Interface with stakeholders to define and create documentation including requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, feature description powerpoint decks, user guides, process flows, and flow charts
Understand a client`s business processes and legacy systems to map requirements to the aptify product.
Responsible for assisting clients to configure the product application to meet their needs and to document specific requirements for product customizations.
Work with management and stakeholders to plan and execute user acceptance testing
Respond and prioritize business and project issues and escalate promptly and appropriately
Work under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area
We are looking for someone who brings
Experience
Bs degree in computer science or business or equivalent experience, mba is a plus
Requires 1-3 years of related experience
Computer/technical
Proficient in office 365 – microsoft word, excel, powerpoint, outlook
Demonstrate ability to learn and understand basic office software applications
Experience working with agile development processes and the team collaboration tools (jira or tfs)
Familiarity with enterprise business-related systems and tools is a plus
Familiarity with sql (writing simple queries, looking at databases) is a plus
Other skills
Excellent verbal and written communication, organization and follow up skills
Excellent presentation, relationship building skills and ability to work both individually and as a member of a team are necessary
Proven ability to handle multiple tasks with minimal supervision
Ability to work effectively within a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Strong problem solving and analytical skills with keen ability to deal with detailed, and sometimes ambiguous, information
Skilled at interacting with employees at all levels within the client organization
