You have a clear vision of where your career can goAnd we have the leadership to help you get thereAt cna, we strive to create a culture in which people know they matter and are part of something important, ensuring the abilities of all employees are used to their fullest potentialThe candidate will have experience in the full lifecycle of endpoint image strategy, development, deployment, support and maintenanceThis position works primarily through external service providers to ensure operational areas are managed according to cna standards and contracted obligationsThe successful candidate will drive the technical requirements and delivery of end user computing initiatives and act as the subject matter expert for all endpointsJob description: essential duties & responsibilities performs a combination of duties in accordance with departmental guidelines: responsible for and acts as the primary subject matter expert for all endpoints primarily windows and macos in an environment that includes physical and virtual devicesServes as a primary conduit between vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure business goals and consistent, continuously improved results are deliveredEnsures outcomes for projects incentivize both cna resources and vendors perform in cna’s best interests clarifies unclear requirements and promotes productive and effective issue resolution with service providers and across the it organizationTroubleshoots performance or technical problems and works cross-functionally with stakeholders at all levels to recommend and/or employ effective solutions acts as a subject matter expert (sme) for end user computing, understanding both the industry direction and latest trends as well as cna’s technical landscape to propose, design and implement the best fit solutions to support the business for endpoints may perform additional duties as assignedSkills, knowledge & abilities in-depth knowledge in operations and engineering functions of desktop operating systems and other workplace technologies like windows 7/10/11, macos, citrix, sccm, intune, gpos, jamf, active directory extensive knowledge of software packages used in images for endpoint security, basic operations, productivity and management e.gMcafee, symantec, nexthink, flexera, o365, webex, rdp and netskopeExperience maintaining a hardware and peripherals catalogue as well as developing a comprehensive device hardware selection process (ieCpu, disk, ram and network) from various oem vendors to support business functions and required business softwareStrong troubleshooting capabilities to develop and continuously refine processes to improve endpoint functionality and stability e.gAddress top 10 reported issues, analyze and address device performance issues, define and implement role-based solutions superior interpersonal, presentation, verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to think analytically, critically and creatively to identify viable options from conceptualization to executionPrevious experience with vendor partners and a proven track record of building, developing and managing service delivery and support teams e.gReview monthly resource unit reports, slas, kpis, csls, collaborate on device roadmaps, review runbooks, etcDetail-orientation with proven analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to effectively plan and direct multiple projects and project teamsAgile methodology preferred ability to act as a thought leader in researching and presenting innovative ways to solve complex issues, including working with it managed service providers with root cause analysis, sla adherence and outcomes-based resultsKnowledge of infrastructure operations, migrating legacy technologies to more modern technologies, complying with corporate security posture and bring your own (byod) or choose your own (cyod) offeringsEducation & experience
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or related work experience.
Minimum of five years in information technology experience in technical solution design, windows desktops, macos desktops, citrix workspace or other virtualization solution — preferably in the insurance industry.
Experience in a business-facing it role or similar experience providing customer service for an it service.
Experience working with it vendors and/or managed service providers, preferably in resource until based models.
Applicable certifications are also preferred.
