Job Description:
As a Healthcare Consultant, you will provide advice based on your experience and the healthcare literature.
You will need to work closely with delivery and sales team to provide thought leadership to ensure account growth.
You will seek ways to optimize a client’s ability to deliver high-quality care to their patients efficiently and cost-effectively. Ultimately, this can increase the client’s capacity to improve patient health outcomes.
The ideal candidate will have excellent presentations skills, superior analytical skills, and experience of working with healthcare clients.
This role requires acute strategic thinking skills that include the ability to form hypothesis from limited and unstructured information and perform data driven qualitative and quantitative supporting analysis.
Critical skills include production of excellent work product, conducting structured interviews, planning, and conducting client work sessions and workshops.
Responsibilities:
Develop and deliver presentations to C-Level audiences
Assess business practices and provide insights based on industry trends
Conduct research and produce industry specific points of view
As needed, travel to client offices
Ability to work under aggressive deadlines
Conduct data collection, analysis, and synthesis
Knowledge of Healthcare Provider/Payor business functions and IT systems
Understanding of US Healthcare Provider workflows, work-streams including Patient visit, Scheduling, Claims, Network and Pricing, Provider Management, Medical Management, Premium Billing and Payment, Member Enrollments, Benefits Management, HIPAA, Telehealth, and Healthcare ecosystem innovations
Experience of working with healthcare clients across business lines and service lines
Qualifications:
Bachelors/Master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or healthcare
5+ years of consulting experience with an industry leading consultancy
Proficiency with healthcare strategy and workflows
Excellent presentation skills
Superior analytical abilities
Ability to build rapport with a variety of people.
