Full job description

Seeking experienced designer to help established designer with multiple projectsCompensation based on experience.

Interior designer with at least 3 + years of experience required.

This position is to assist the owner of a very busy interior design company with several projects.

**please include 3 – 5 portfolio pictures of current work along with resumeFailure to do so will delay the process.

Responsibilities

Work closely with designer, architects, and contractors
Ability to take `rough` sketches and measurements and turn them into detailed and precise drawings from auto cad for contractors.
Research on pricing, availability and lead time of materials and products
Regular updates of work progress

Skills

Current work experience in interior design (consultations, renovations, space planning and new constructions)
Proficient in autocad preferred
Knowledge of other design software a plus
Comfortable working in a fast pace environment with the ability to turn around work quickly
Knowledge of local vendors and workrooms
Excellent portfolio of previous works
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Bs degree in interior design or similar
