Senior voice support engineer (remote – must be located in pst)

Burwood is currently looking for candidates to join our county of orange voice it services transition and delivery teamOrange county, ca, the sixth largest county government in the united states, operates a diverse, complex county government enterprise serving the constituents and public of orange county across some 26 unique agencies and departments.
The county of orange has undergone an extensive voice transformation project and operates an extensive set of high-performing it systems that serve the county’s 17,000 employees located across a diverse county geo-location and interface with over 3 million county residents, the state of california, the us federal government and numerous third-party providers and business partners.
What you’ll do
This role gives you the opportunity to get hands-on with the latest collaboration infrastructure technologies, including wan, man and lan voice, contact center, and moreThis role combines a strong passion for technology and outstanding customer service.
In this position, you will support voice infrastructure services in complex, large enterprise environmentsAs a senior-level engineer responsibility will include:
Advanced cisco administration, configuration, implementation, maintenance handling escalation issues for cisco call manager, unity connection, cisco emergency responder, and technology.
Subject matter expert on uc environment, voip platforms and analog voice gateways, and srst routers.
Resolving complex incidents and troubleshooting problems as tier 3 including voice quality, cisco applications, network qos, telecom circuits.
Tier 3 support escalations working directly with customers, carriers, and 3rd party hardware/software maintenance vendors to resolve issues surrounding
Ensuring tickets are addressed and brought to resolution as quickly as possible related to all collaboration infrastructure technologies, including network (wan, lan, wireless) & uc suite
Providing reporting and training to end-users

The tech stuff
Prefer professional certification such as ccvp, ccnp collaboration or ccie equivalent
Knowledge working with cisco uccx call center and uccx scripting experience is plus
Prefer prior experience in a large enterprise environment support, designing and deployment with best practices for collaboration solutions
Advance knowledge with cisco unified communications manager, cisco unity connection cisco emergency responder, cisco unified presence, cisco telepresence & expressway microsoft exchange & unified messaging
Direct experience with working in it service management, managed service provider, or isp cisco voice gateways and telco configuration (pri, did, pots, gs/ls trunks, sip trunks)
Basic level networking, including subnetting, basic routing and switching protocols including sip, lan, wan, vlan
