Enhanced care management operations manager
Summary: under direction of the director of integrated health services, the enhanced care management operations manager is responsible for managing the coordination of integrated health services (ihs) to include behavioral health (bh), harm reduction (hr), medication assisted treatment (mat) programs and related grants within borrego health clinicsThe role requires collaborating with various internal and external providers and organizations to ensure compliance with program policies and standards for services as well as the fulfillment of program deliverablesBe proactive in the integration of behavioral health services into the primary care settingThe role is responsible for all business development and the operationalization of workflows as they pertain to the bh, hr, mat and related programs.
Essential duties and responsibilities: administrative functions: 1Program oversight and workflow development/integration into borrego systems2Monitors program revenue and related key performance indicators (kpi’s) to ensure effective program rollout and growth to maximize access to care and revenue opportunity.
Collaborates with department chairs on department vision and needs; implements effective strategies to meet department goals.
Ensures compliance with program guidelines regarding activities, goals and outcomes.
Effectively monitors and evaluates the quality and efficiency of caseload management and related workflows within bh, hr, mat programs.
Coaches and informs team members on integrated services for bh, hr and mat in addition to providing practice guidelines and comprehensive person-centered care planning with special attention to health and wellness.
Develops and oversees administrative audits/reviews of program activities.
8Responsible for reviewing and implementing staff development monitoring tools and workflows9Interacts with a variety of departments across the organization ensuring appropriate resources are identified, engaged, and prioritized for execution of strategic initiatives10Participates in manager meetings, staff meetings, and committees as needed11Establishes regular rounding meetings with managers and staff about bh program including kpi’s12Creates and monitors reports to ensure program compliance for all ihs related programs13Creates and monitors streamlined information platforms and dashboards to track program status14Represents ihs services within borrego health as well as with community partners15Educates borrego health staff about integrated health services16Models the highest ethical behavior in relationships with employees, co-workers, supervisors, patients, providers, and colleagues in the community 17Responsible for the hiring, training and administrative supervision of bh and mat staff as needed18Coordinates with the training department and as needed external agencies (including health plans) for necessary staff training19Responsible for time card management, staffing coverage and annual reviews for direct reports20Other duties as assigned.

Ensures a “patient centered” and customer friendly environmentUnderstands and implements patient `rights and responsibilities.`
Investigates and reports patient, provider or staff complaintsWorks towards conflict resolution.
Ensures appropriate, smooth patient flowMonitors appointment availability, process time/cycle time, wait-lists and patient satisfaction and makes improvements as necessary.
Promotes a safe and accident-free environment.
Works together with director of integrated health services, clinic managers, providers and bh support staff in promoting systems that will focus on patient centered health.
Qualifications:
Minimum qualifications:
1Bachelor’s degree in psychology or related field, required 2Master`s degree, preferred 3Registered alcohol/drug technician (radt) or certified alcohol/drug counselor (cadc), preferred44-5 years of experience in integrated healthcare within a community health center or other related health care field, preferred52-3 years administrative or managerial experience, preferred 6Ability to train and work well with others.
Knowledge, skills and abilities:
1Excellent oral and written communication skills2Effective interpersonal skills3Bilingual in spanish/english a plus
