Full job description

We are looking for a dedicated associate php developer for developing new software programs and update and modify existing programs.

This is a full time position offered for permanent job and you will be based in kochi where you will be working closely with the research, development and technology team.

The associate php developer processes our requirements to customize software for computer programs, designs prototype applications, implements and tests source code, and troubleshoots software applicationsTo be successful as a associate php developer, you should have a sound knowledge of core php as well as excellent engineering and analytical skills.

Your duties will include (but are not limited to):

Write “clean”, well-designed code
Produce detailed specifications
Troubleshoot, test and maintain the core product software and databases to ensure strong optimization and functionality
Contribute in all phases of the development lifecycle
Follow industry best practices
Develop and deploy new features to facilitate related procedures and tools if necessary
Analyze, design, implement and integrate functional requirements in new/existing solutions
Producing detailed specifications and writing the program codes that performs efficiently
Deliver fully tested source code complying with code quality standards
Preparation of training manuals for users
Working within a team to determine needs and applying / customizing existing technology to meet those needs
Daily reporting
Collaborate, learn, teach

Requirements

Aside from a proficiency in programming skills, associate php developer is necessarily required to have a degree.

Proven software development experience in core php
Demonstrable knowledge of web technologies including html, css, jquery, javascript, ajax etc
Hands on angular, couchdb and/or mongodb
User authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments
Integration of multiple data sources and databases into one system
Familiarity with limitations of php as a platform and its workarounds
Good knowledge of relational databases, version control tools and of developing web services
Experience in common third-party apis (twitter, facebook, google maps, instagram, ebay etc)
Understanding of responsive design frameworks such as bootstrap
Passion for best design and coding practices and a desire to develop new bold ideas

Education, experience, and licensing requirements:

Bachelor/master degree in computer science, computer applications engineering or a related subject
3+ years of hands-on experience in design, architect, developing and delivering programs using core php
3 to 5-year experience, preferably in related field
