The person will be responsible for strategic planning efforts required to drive local market opportunities and challenges as well as oversight of integrated marketing campaigns for India. This position requires close collaboration across a variety of functions including Interactive, Channel, Retail, Partner Communications, PR and Advertising. The Strategic Planner interacts with key roles at WW and maintains key relationships locally with Marcom Functional Leads, Producers, Sales, Retail, Services, and Finance.

STRATEGIC PLANNING RESPONSIBILITIES: – Own the development of the annual Marketing plan collaborating across all Marcom functions as well as Education, Enterprise, PR, Sales and Finance – Develop data-driven marketing briefs that inform and inspire the best possible work – Collaborate with Product Marketing, Sales and Marcom teams to identify, articulate, and prioritise business challenges and opportunities for Marcom – Provide the India team and WW regular India-specific insights, competitive reviews and market snapshots that could impact briefs and subsequent creative work – Work in partnership with local agency to develop critical initiatives for India, arming them with the vital business context required to develop sound strategies BRAND RESPONSIBILITIES: – Act as the ultimate subject matter authority for the products you lead – Lead product launch and sustaining activities as well as local origination projects for the product categories that you will be responsible for. – Provide a single point of contact for campaigns from an overall process, communications, and materials perspective. This requires representing India’s needs to WW Marcom counterparts, while articulating the global strategy to the broader Geo team. – Work closely with the WW Marcom team to establish local Marcom goals and product strategies. – Know the competitive landscape, key challenges, market trends as well as the social/PR sentiment around those products – Supervise all Marcom work ensuring consistency in messaging across all functional deliverables and that overall timelines are met
