Ameriprise Financial Looking for Principal Lead Application Development at Haryana , Gurgaon Full Time

We are looking for a highly motivated individual with fresh ideas having passion & great acumen for systems engineering.
The person identified will be responsible to designs systems that meet functional and non-functional requirements, consistent with long-term strategies.
Responsibilities
Individual should:

Have lead teams of sizing 5+ people in past and have great leadership qualities with competent communication skillsThe individual should also be capable of working as an individual contributor.
Have in-depth knowledge of the engineering processes and quality assurance life cycle.

Be competent in database systems, should be able to write advanced sql queries, should have knowledge of joins, should be able to do performance tuning of queries as needed, stored procedures etc.

Have good knowledge of microservices and spring framework (core and extensions)Should have worked on unix operating systems & should be able to read shell scripting (bash) & test functionalities by executing them.

Have good experience in product testing and database testingExposure to performance testing will be good to have.

Required qualifications
11+ years of it experience

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems or related field; or related work experience.
Skills in application architecture, and knowledge of operations and deployment methodologies and techniques.

Solid understanding and applied expertise in solution architecture designs and concepts, which include but are not limited to: security, high availability, recovery, performance, monitoring and operations design, and application architecture.

Experience in cloud application engineering
Working knowledge of modern web application trends like responsive design, javascript mvc frameworks, and principles of enterprise-grade web sites.

A desire to explore new and emerging web and development technologies, synthesize recommendations, and influence key stakeholders
Proven experience configuring, debugging, and deploying enterprise applications in complex environments
Proven experience designing and delivering scalable and distributed web applications
Strong written and verbal communications skills.
Ability to communicate effectively with developers, stakeholders, peers, and leadership, driving results and action.
Strong business acumen and the ability to identify key issues and their impact in a broad business contextCandidate must be able to translate technology into business terms and value.
Good understanding on cloud native design and experience in designing applications deployments using amazon web services (aws)
Experience in designing highly available and scalable distributed applications.

Preferred qualifications

Familiar with agile software development
Financial services industry specific knowledge that includes a working knowledge of industry standards and architectures.
Familiarity with robotic process automation
Experience in design of large data and data integration systems
