Aws support is seeking an experienced editor to edit, project manage, and execute on delivering high-quality training content to aws support engineers and partnersThis role works to ensure that best practices and content standards are upheld for all training contentThis is a great opportunity to play a key role in amazon web services (aws), a subsidiary of amazon.com and a global leader in cloud computing.
In this role, you will work closely with aws support curriculum developers, subject matter experts, and content managers, as well as with stakeholders in this globally distributed organization.
You are the ideal candidate for this role if you have experience editing content for highly technical audiences and the ability to drive consistency and unity across complex content deliverablesYou understand the needs of technical customers and advocate on behalf of the learnerYou have experience editing in a corporate environment and with juggling the needs of internal and external stakeholders, style and branding guidelines, and legal requirements, among other prioritiesFinally, you have solid project management experience, strong attention to detail, the ability to learn new tools and processes quickly, and excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.

Key job responsibilities
Perform all levels of edits on course materials, including articulate storyline files, webpages, powerpoint presentations, and other items as assigned
Improve and maintain the qa process for the curriculum development teams
Ensure correct and consistent use of aws style, branding, service/product naming conventions, and legal and messaging requirements
Collaborate with curriculum developers and content experts to improve course content
Manage all aspects of the editorial process on individual editing assignments
