3+ years experience with aws cloud services
3+ years experience with enterprise services such as okta, work space one, proofpoint, crowdstrike, google workspaces, splunk in a saas environment

Job summary
The amazon care it services team (it) manages technology that enables clinicians and amazon care employees to work effectively while ensuring that compliance and governance requirements are met.
In this role you identify and implement strategic service improvements and influence the direction of amazon care’s it infrastructureYou deliver both tactical and strategic work independently and through others, and communicate effectively across a wide range of technical and non-technical stakeholders.
As a senior systems engineer you demonstrate engineering best practice in requirements definition, selection, configuration, and ongoing operation and maintenance of our catalogue of tools and services.
You put mechanisms in place to ensure it service implementations are high quality in terms of design, code, operational readiness, deployment plans, monitoring/alerting plans, system change management, support and escalation procedures, maintenance and upgrade schedulesYou regularly deliver improvements and automation to ensure that it services are secure, extensible, operationally excellent and cost-optimized.
You deliver formal service reviews of amazon care it third party services on a regular schedule, and drive engagement with security, business owners, it team members, procurement, vendors and other stakeholders to ensure that it continuously improves amazon care’s it infrastructure and processes and delivers new value to the businessYou articulate it’s value and communicate risks to the business through contributions to monthly business reviews, launch announcements, project proposals, and other high quality documents.
You actively identify technology knowledge gaps in the team, mentor and develop others, and personally set and achieve professional development goals that raise the team’s overall performance bar.
Systems engineers participate in an on-call after-hours rotation.
