– KRA 1: Accountability: Plant availability: Supervise & coordinate all the mechanical activities of Raw Mill to maximize the plant availability to achieve continuous dispatches as per targets.
– KRA 2: Cost Control: Plan, Monitor & Control cost (S&S; and RPM) as per budget in mechanical maintenance activities in order to optimize maintenance costs.
– System implementation:
Ensure implementation of various systems for through involvement of employees and for improving plant all-round performance.
– KRA 3: People Management & Development: To build & sustain a conductive work culture within department to improve productivity, growth & improvements in department performance for overall objective of unit along with motivating employees to institutionalize for bring innovation, creativity, best practices to replicate in the Unit by effective management of people for development of them.
– KRA 4: Continuous Improvement: Study and recommend Capex jobs for equipment upgradation/debottlenecking to improve plant availability and productivity.
– KRA 5: Safety/Statutory compliance: Monitor safety measures and safety practices to ensure accident-free working. To improve safety and productivity & ensure compliance of Factory & environment related requirements.
– Professional Experience description: (state key experiences required):
– – Plan, Co-ordinate and direct supervision of day-to-day maintenance of plant & Equipment,
– – Manpower planning & resource levelling to meet daily maintenance requirement,
– – Making preventive maintenance schedule & its execution,
– – On job training to front line working crew for safe & quality working, Spare management for day-to-day requirement,
– – Responsible for increase the mill-run hours and to reduce unplanned stoppages
– – Sound knowledge on Roller Press, Separator, RABH, fans, safety practices & management system like ISO, WCM and their implementation
– – Proficiency in Computers & knowledge of SAP is must
– – To maintain S&S; & RPM expenses as per budgeted norms.
– Proactive for Establishing hazard free & healthy working conditions through implementation of UTCL safety standard.
– To ensure 100% Equipment availability for 365 days continuously in Kiln, Coal Mill, AFR and shift operation. Maintain zero accident, to ensure 100% Implementation of systems like QMS, EMS, OHSAS, WCM and SAP, Controlling of maintenance expenditure well within norms. Coordinate the challenging of execution of maintenance related activities. Ensure pollution free environment to improve manpower efficiency and productivity.
– Preventive maintenance in assigned in RM and LSSR and RABH
– Planning & coordination of annual shutdown for RM and LSSR and RABH
– . (Manpower, Material, Resources & Machinery)
– Prepare spare & Major shutdown planning according to budget and maintain S&S; and RPM cost within budget of RM and LSSR and RABH section with Monitor of Mechanical Department.
– Submit report of Mechanical Department:
– S&S-RPM; Provision, Flash Cost, MPR Report, Inventory Report, Monthly MIS report of Mechanical, GRT Meeting, S&P; Meeting, Safety Standard Meeting with coordination of all Mechanical Sections.
– Monitor and review the material consumption and manpower cost with respect to budgeted figures and analyze the reasons for the same in every month for all sections.
– Identification of new improvement projects and new maintenance techniques to improve OEE of plant.
– Ensure implementation of ISO-9001, EMS-14001, OHSAS – 18001 and WCM through the involvement of employees for improving plant performance and quality standards.
– Knowledge & hands on experience in implementing UTCL safety standard, Safety Observations, WTI Rounds, ISO, EHS, OHSAS, SA 8000,
CFSA and ABOEF system.
– Inventory monitoring, identifying Kaizens, studying abnormalities, analyzing problematic areas, monitoring & controlling cost.
– Why-Why analysis and finding Root causes and suitable action to achieve no repetitive problems.
– Well familiar with SAP Systems, MS Project, TM-1, KRONOS, MySetu, Confluence, UTCL safety standard, Safety Observations, WTI Rounds, ISO, EHS, OHSAS, SA 8000, CFSA and ABOEF system.
– Professional Qualifications: B. E- Mechanical /Diploma in Mechanical Engg
– Essential: Sound knowledge on Roller press, Dynamic separator, Belt conveyors, RABH and material handling equipment (LS stacker and reclaimer)
