You will be working as project engineer, reporting to an engineering manager for electrification business area for distribution solutions division based in bangaloreYou will be accountable to act as the responsible engineer (design authority) for assigned engineering assignments efficiently and cost-effectively and in accordance with contract specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements.

Your responsibilities

Create the engineering design concept/philosophy definitionEvaluate and apply standard techniques, procedures and criteria to perform engineering assignmentsReviews and approves design deliverables.
Provide technical support for testing, installation and commissioning activities.
Provide design verification support to the assigned factory/lbu.
Creates work plans and cost estimates for work in own area of responsibility and proactively manages this work to deliver the agreed program on time, on quality and at the targeted cost.
Utilize standard processes and tools like configurator, eplan electric p8, solidworks, and plm/ document management systems applicable for focused factory/lbu assignedIs responsible for: ga,sld, schematics & bill of materials,
Technical calculations like heat loss, ct calculations, sizing etc.
Necessary test specification that contains all details needed to perform the specific test.
Implement the changes approved by project manager and lead engineer
Promote the use of the libraries, as well proposing the new solutions.

Your background

Bachelor`s or diploma in electronics and electrical engineering.
Minimum 2-5 years of project experience.
Basic knowledge of power system, protection & substation automation and pc operations.
Experience in relay/ied configuration and programming
Experienced in engineering tools like, mns engineer, eplan and autocad/solidworks.
Familiar with international standards like iec, ansi and ieee
