What we`re looking for:

6sense is looking for a stellar senior accountant, general ledger to join our growing accounting teamThis role requires a self-starter with strong attention to detail, highly organized, exceptional quantitative skills and the ability to perform under tight deadlinesThe ideal candidate must be able to work both independently and collaboratively with team membersThis position reports to the assistant controller.

In this role, you will:

Assist in accurate and timely worldwide month end close to ensure compliance with us gaap and local statutory requirements
Support and complete the monthly/quarterly/annual financial close processes
Assist in preparing monthly balance sheet and income statement flux variance analysis for management reporting
Support accounting month end close which includes preparation of journal entries and account reconciliations
Collaborate with fp&a and other cross-functional departments to ensure completeness of expense accruals monthly
Proactively review, implement, and maintain corporate accounting policies and procedures, and assist in internal control and process documentation
Lead, support and coordinate the quarterly and year-end financial audits
Review current close procedures, improve and automate processes to ensure timely monthly close and operational efficiency
Training and mentoring of junior staff accountants
Assist with ad-hoc projects as needed
Consolidation of monthly financial statements, including foreign currency translation
Review intercompany settlements and foreign subs financials

What you`ll bring to this role:

Bachelor`s degree in accounting is required.
Experience with intacct or similar erp systems.
Strong experience and knowledge in us gaap principles and financial statements.
Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills
Minimum of 4-6 years of general ledger experience, prefer in saas industry
Strong experience in microsoft office suite; excel, outlook, and onedrive
