Started in June 2020, 21K School is an online-only School with personalised, affordable and flexible education for K-12 students globally. It is a category creator in the formal K-12 space of Education, offering high-quality schooling to students irrespective of their location and time zone.
Our goal is to make quality education accessible, affordable and flexible for all students irrespective of their location or socio-economic background. We are a 100% online school and presently offer three curricula for our students – Indian, American and British. Presently, we have 3000 students from 400 cities, 35 countries representing 17 nationalities. We intend to grow to 30,000 students by the start of the next academic year.
We are expanding our Team and are looking for passionate Instructional and Academic Leaders in K-12 Space to be a part of the path-breaking journey.
Academic Coordinator-Middle School Responsibilities include:
Ensure the delivery of the curriculum and teaching, learning and assessment strategies, having particular regard to the student engagement and experience.
To implement the policies, procedures and guidelines for achieving highest standards of academic excellence
To meticulously plan and ensure high quality in day-to-day conduct of classes and student’s learning outcomes
To ensure excellent relationship with parents driven by proactive communication, grievance handling and relationship building
To ensure discipline and adherence to academic standards by teachers, students and parents
To plan and execute events in school including PTMs
To ensure conduct of fair and transparent examination and assessments of students
To observe classes on a regular basis and prepare performance appraisal reports
To manage the teachers for academic excellence ensuring that the work culture is inspiring and open.
To ensure compliance with Affiliation and Accreditation Policies, Rules and Guidelines.
Measure key academic and student performance metrics, and prepare MIS for reporting and analysis
Any other tasks as required from time to time.
Willingness to work from home managing a virtual team
Experience in Academic Coordination and Administration with experience of activity based learning, experiential learning and project based learning.
Tech savvy with hands-on experience with Online Learning Platforms, Zoom, Google Workplace, and other IT Tools
Good understanding of national / international curriculum standards, frameworks and new developments in the academic world at specific Grade Level
Must have latest laptop and hi-speed internet at home with power back-up
Willingness to work six days a week and put extra hours when required.

Master’s degree from a reputed institute or university with a B.Ed or equivalent.
Certification showcasing IT Skills for use of computer, MS-Office Suite, etc.
Must have worked in a K-12 School with minimum 5 years’ experience as a Teacher practicing student-centric pedagogies and new learning methods
Best in the Industry, commensurate with experience and industry practice.
