Key Responsibilities:

1. Conduct IT Audits:

• Plan, execute, and report on IT audits, focusing on ITGC and application controls.
• Assess the effectiveness of IT controls related to financial systems and processes.
• Identify control gaps and provide recommendations for improvement.

1. Evaluate IT General Controls (ITGC):

• Review ITGC, including access management, change management, and IT operations.
• Ensure that controls are designed effectively and are operating as intended.
• Perform tests of controls to validate the integrity and reliability of financial reporting.

1. Risk Assessment and Management:

• Conduct risk assessments to identify key IT risks related to financial processes.
• Collaborate with finance teams to understand business processes and assess IT dependencies.

1. Compliance and Regulatory Requirements:

• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations such as SOX, GDPR, and other applicable standards.
• Support external auditors by providing required documentation and explanations.

1. Reporting and Documentation:

• Prepare clear, concise, and timely audit reports for management.
• Document findings, recommendations, and action plans to address control deficiencies.

1. Collaboration and Stakeholder Management:

• Work with IT, finance, and other business units to enhance control frameworks.
• Act as a subject matter expert on ITGC and related financial controls.

1. Continuous Improvement:

• Stay updated on emerging trends in IT auditing, technology, and regulatory changes.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of audit methodologies and tools.
