Position Summary: The Sales Officer will be responsible for driving sales of agrochemical products and services within a defined geographic region. The individual will be required to identify potential customers, develop sales strategies, and manage customer relationships. The position requires a deep understanding of the agrochemical industry and its products.
Key Responsibilities:
– Identify potential customers within the assigned geographic region and develop strategies to generate new business.
– Maintain and expand existing customer relationships through regular visits, follow-ups, and support.
– Provide technical support to customers and offer solutions based on their specific needs.
– Develop and execute sales plans to achieve targets for sales volume, revenue, and profitability.
– Gather and analyze market information to stay up-to-date on industry trends, customer needs, and competitor activity.
– Prepare sales reports and forecasts, and track sales activities against targets.
– Coordinate with other departments, such as marketing and logistics, to ensure smooth sales operations.
– Attend trade shows, conferences, and other industry events to promote company products and services.
– Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as relevant laws and regulations.
Qualifications and Experience:
– Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Business Administration, or related field.
– A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in sales, preferably in the agrochemical industry.
– Strong knowledge of agrochemical products and their applications.
– Proven track record of achieving sales targets and developing new business.
– Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
– Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
– Proficiency in MS Office and sales software.
– Proficiency in local languages is preferred
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: ₹15,000.00 – ₹25,000.00 per month
