Full Job Description
The ideal candidate will have substantial exposure to Sales and Marketing Billings and Expense Handling and monthly closing processes, forecasting and budgeting, and customer billing. They will be organized and approach each issue with an analytical mindset.
Good Knowledge of MIS & Advance excel.
Responsibilities
– Prepare accurate, timely financial statements in accordance with the established
– schedule as per companies ACT and with input from the rest of the departments
– DATA ENTRY IN TALLY for all types of transactions as per company requirements
– Prepare monthly and Quarterly returns of GST ( GSTR1, 2A, 2B, 3B).
– Prepare form 3CD as per Income Tax Act.
– Be ready to be update with GST amendments/notification.
– Conduct monthly and quarterly account reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance
– Analyze financial statements for discrepancies and other issues that should be brought to the MD’s attention
– Review all inter-company transactions and generate invoices as necessary
– Reconcile balance sheet accounts
– Coordinate semi-annual audits and assist CA with conducting audits
– Conduct regular ledger maintenance
– Ensure business transactions are reported in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles
– Work closely with team members to assist with the month-end close
– Assist with the annual audit process including the draft of the financial statements and related notes
– Research and analyze expense variances for company management
Qualifications
– 5+ years’ of professional accounting experience
– Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics or equivalent experience
– CPA preferred
– Knowledge and experience of working in relevant to accounting areas of GST ACT, Income TAX Act.
– Experience with computerized ledger systems especially Tally
– Advanced knowledge of Excel ( Tab setting and formulae linking)
– Strong problem solving and analytical skills
– Ability to function well in a team-oriented environment
– Familiarity with GST system,
Income Tax online system and ROC online system a plus
